I'm addicted to favourite, I need to spend (some)time with him everyday.
He is my drug.

Doesn't look good cuz I am so gonna miss him when he flies off in Aug. :(

I'm down with a bad bout of cough, sore throat and runny nose. :(
Stayed home the whole day to rest.

I remember someone telling me that our bodies (as in educators') are synchronised with the school calendar - we're all healthy during school term but tend to fall sick during the school holidays.
Really?

Favourite dropped by to visit and to have dinner with me at grandma's; she's missed him! :)
He watched a little wee bit of tv with me before heading home.

Yea, though it's been a pretty sickly day for me, he made my day! ;)

I met favourite to go desk-shopping at Ikea after I was done with some admin work in school.
It was fun! :)

We then headed to Hort Park for me to snap a few photos and to get some ideas for a gardening competition.

Well, the movie's got me thinking about stuff.
Fairy tales only exist in movies.
Yea, say that I'm cynical but it's true right.
We cannot reverse decisions with a kiss, that I have learnt; I learnt the hard way. :(
Oh well, whatever...


That's me in the 3D specs, favourite didn't want a shot cuz he didn't like how the specs kept sliding down his nose bridge. Haha.
Or maybe, he's just camera-shy? :P

Nonetheless, favourite was great company for the day! :D
We headed to SPC at Pasir Panjang for the car to be washed.
Favourite volunteered to drive cuz I drove around all day and he wanted to let me rest, totally sw-weet! :)


We then headed to West Coast for late dinner - I had Aston's while favourite had zi cha.
Happy I can spend time with him, but I wish the day he flies off (tentatively 9th August) doesn't come soon.
However, time is tick-tocking by. :(

I wenta support favourite and the team for their first game in the SBSA National Fastpitch League 2010 this afternoon.
I love watching softball games - the different plays, the team spirit, the encouragement... :)


That's favourite up to bat - an additional reason why I love watching matches the team plays in! ;)

Summer Romance

Retail therapy at Vivocity after a long day - Ecology Field Trip & Learning Journey Field Trip to Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve with my 102 kids then Navy Open House Visit with 15 of my cadets.

I bought the Ralph Lauren Summer Romance for myself, and got favourite a little something also. :)
And cuz of my purchases, I got the RL Romance bag as a freebie!
Everything's all pink and nice, lovely!

Was back in school doing marking today when I got a message from favourite saying he got stung by a bee/wasp while hiking at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
He sought treatment at the NTU Medical Centre (They had to go submit their research materials at NIE), while I finished up some marking.
Picked him up and sent him home before I headed home and napped.
Was somehow really tired. :(

I visited baby cousin, Trella, at Gleneagles, she's hospitalised cuz of vesicoureteral reflux.
So heartbreaking to see so many tubes running in and outta her; and to see her all teary and upset. :(
Hope she gets well soon! :)

Met favourite impromptu after the visit, asked if he wanted to hang out in town and to do some night photography. :)
Yea, I felt like playing around with some DSLR! ;)

Hope my kids had a good break from their exams. :)
Though it's only been a week outta school, I feel like it's been a long long time...
I shall enjoy what's left of my stint in NIE, totally gonna miss my classmates also.
And so we said, we're gonna try our best to meet up every term break for some group therapy.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope we can keep that going! :)
