darkness or light?

Someone related to me about a teacher's status on facebook, "I leave the house when it's dark and return home when it's dark, my life is in darkness."
A fellow teacher commented, "I'm different from you. I leave the house at dawn and return at dusk, at least there's some light in my life."

I wonder what my life would be like...
